Quarter Finals Update - Feb 27, 2025
The 3/4 Team battled first. It was a flawless showing, they did not miss any questions and stole the 2 the other team missed. That means they won their battle with a score of 56-40! Congratulations to this hard working team! This means they will move on to the Semi-final round next Wednesday, March 5th at 5:30 at the Castle Rock Library.
The 5/6 Team battled after. They did an amazing job, but missed 2 questions, both which the other team were not able to steal. But the other team did not miss any of their own questions, which meant a loss for us and a final score of 40-50. They were so disappointed, but they handled it like the classy team they are. Even when they saw the loss coming, the spokesperson did not lose heart, but bravely stood and answered their last few questions correctly and with courage. I was very proud! They congratulated the other team and did us proud!
This means that was the last battle for the season for the 5/6 team. They worked hard for us this year - if you see one of the 5/6 team be sure to thank them for representing us well and tell them good job!
